Built from Inside the Problem

AlBaraka started from real experience in government supply. For a small company with a limited team, finding the right contract is only the beginning. The real difficulty starts with understanding the requirements, finding suppliers, getting competitive prices, and assembling a complete bid in a short window.

Who I am

I'm Ahmadelmustfa Zaurog, founder of AlBaraka Supplies LLC. I currently supply food products to government agencies. AlBaraka grew from the problems I experienced firsthand while doing this work.

The complexity

Government contracts don't follow one path. Requirements vary by agency, contract type, procurement method, competition, and performance obligations. Large firms have specialist teams for this. A two-person company has to understand it all alone. The question becomes: how do I know an opportunity fits my company before I waste time on a contract I can't perform?

The workload

With one or two people, finding the opportunity, reading the requirements, preparing the bid, chasing suppliers, comparing prices, and reviewing documents all fall on the same few people.

The time pressure

Even after finding the right contract, you need real suppliers and real prices fast. Some opportunities give you only 10 to 20 days to produce a price and a technical response. That is short when you still have to find the supplier, confirm availability, get a price, learn the lead time, and check the requirements.

Why I built this

I didn't build this from outside the industry. I started from a problem I hit while doing government supply work, then built the tools I needed for my own work. The platform is designed for suppliers and contractors across government procurement, not only food suppliers.

My background

Experience in management, and I taught myself programming and software development. I combined that with the supply work to build AlBaraka.

Where we are

AlBaraka is early. We don't claim a long history or hundreds of customers. We're building the product with real users, and we want to learn from contractors and suppliers actually working in this market. If you're a small contractor or supplier working with government contracts, we want to hear from you.

Tell us where your time goes, what makes preparing a bid hard, and what you wish were easier.
